Claude Accounts

Bill one agent, or one chat, to a different Claude account

Work and personal on one machine gets awkward. Add more than one Claude account, then say which one an agent bills, or which one a single chat bills.

Your work agent bills the work account, and your side project bills your own. You choose once per agent, and every session it starts follows that choice.

  • Add more than one Claude account in Settings
  • Pin an agent to the account that should pay for it
  • Send one chat to a different account, just this once
  • Switch accounts without restarting anything
  • Once a chat has started, its account never changes
